The Healer’s Way
The Healer’s Way: Book 1
by Oleg Sapphire, Alexey Kovtunov
I was the most powerful healer in my world — the best, having devoted my entire life to mastering the art of healing. And yet, for whatever reason, my brother feared that I sought to claim his throne, and he marshaled his forces against me. Anyway, it doesn’t matter, all the same I’d been planning on trying out a certain ritual and now… I’m in another world altogether!? And this body I’m inhabiting, well, it’s not mine, but some young guy’s! And what’s it mean that in this world the gift of the healer is downright pathetic? Apparently, they simply don’t know how to handle power. Well, I’ll show them…
The Healer’s Way: Book 2
by Oleg Sapphire, Alexey Kovtunov
What could be simpler? On my very first day in this world, I was given the title of a count along with all the trimmings: a castle, name, lands and power. You’d think I had it made, but no… They seized my castle, took my lands, and now, I’m surrounded by enemies. Moreover, it’s nothing but one headache after another with the authorities. And even though I wrested my castle back, the neighbors aren’t going anywhere, and they live and breathe to tear off chunks of my land, and eliminate me, the new head of the family. There’s just one thing I don’t get. Why do they think that since I’m a healer I can’t simply raze their house to the ground? Really, don’t they see that fine blaze over there? Something’s on fire! Well, I’ll show them…
The Healer’s Way: Book 3
by Oleg Sapphire, Alexey Kovtunov
Mikhail’s power had only grown with every new day, and his Family was also flourishing. However, so were their enemies. New ones had emerged, and old ones who’d long ago written them off were now stirring. But really, was this a problem? He was a healer, and there was always a remedy, and mandatory “treatment” could not be stopped! Indeed, his enemies would pay handsomely for it. At least, whatever remained of them…
The Healer’s Way: Book 4
by Oleg Sapphire, Alexey Kovtunov
This world never fails to surprise me! I take care of one problem only to be confronted by yet another ‑‑ my unceasing enemies want what is mine. Is it that hard for them to comprehend that I, the Archmagister of Healing, can’t be had so easily? Why, oh why are healers in this world seen as the weakest of the Gifted? It makes no sense to me. In my former world, everybody knew that Healers were to be respected and feared. Ah, well. It won’t be long before they wish they’d never crossed my path. I grow all the more powerful with each new day as I come to better understand this world, so full of possibilities, and so very fun!
The Healer’s Way: Book 5
by Oleg Sapphire, Alexey Kovtunov
Gangsters, aristocrats, offworlders…What difference does it make? To Mikhail Bulatov, none whatsoever. Any of them could be friend or foe, and he could care less what world they’re from or what their place is in the social order. As for his enemies, any conversation will be equally brief, even if different in content. And yes, those out to get him are ramping up their efforts, and increasing in number. Not that there’s any question of his ability to handle it all. That being said, he must not lose sight of who he is. First and foremost, he is a Healer.
The Healer’s Way: Book 6
by Oleg Sapphire, Alexey Kovtunov
Mikhail came here from a world where both a man’s power and his word still meant something. But here in his new home, it’s all different. Few possess real Gifts strong enough to produce truly powerful mages – but even fewer seem to know how to keep their word. How, then, is he to restore the status of the Bulatov Family? Of course, as the head of the Family, Mikhail never gives up, and he always manages to find a way to outsmart his adversaries. But since this world is lacking in specialists who are honest, much less competent, he might as well expand his horizons in his quest for worthy allies. Yes, let’s see what this world has to offer. How about a specialist in artifacts who is rather antisocial, preferring to study necromancy and the magic of death in peace and quiet, even if he’s sometimes the victim of boredom? Why not find reliable companions to secure the comeback of the Bulatovs? Yes, slowly but surely, Mikhail is finding the kind of company he needs, His castle and lands are growing ever stronger, as is Mikhail himself, although the alien invasions are proliferating, bringing new, even more forbidding adversaries. So expect more adventures, surprising challenges, and more fun!
The Healer’s Way: Book 7
by Oleg Sapphire, Alexey Kovtunov
A good Healer, they say, must use his Gift professionally. Really? No one in my past world would spout such nonsense! Everyone there knew full well what a Healer from the Order was capable of…And they also know that a Healer doesn’t have to kowtow to anybody. But now, I’m no longer in that world. And in this world, I am not only a great Healer, I am also a great count, one that can do far more than heal, as my enemies know full well. But little do they know that I’ve only just begun! I’m on my way to restoring the Bulatov Family’s fiefdom, and I have everything I need now, including forces from another world. Yes, why wouldn’t Offworlders want to serve me? After all, the benefits I provide are excellent, especially the health care. Of course, in return they must work hard… What can I say? Either work, or keep out of my way!
The Healer’s Way: Book 8
by Oleg Sapphire, Alexey Kovtunov
The threats I’ve been facing in this world, well, it’s like playing whack-a-mole. The local aristocrats are still conspiring to put roadblocks in the path of the ever more powerful Bulatov Family. And then I have the offworlders from another world — they haven’t gone anywhere, either. They’re still opening portals and sending through invaders, although, thus far, these attacks have been isolated grabs for loot and prisoners. A portal opens, offworlders dash out, get what they can, and retreat. For me, the offworlders have generally been an irritant and not much more. In contrast, the aristocratic enemies within my new world have consumed far more of my energy. That being said, it looks like now, the offworlders have managed to unite, and take over the city neighboring Arkhangelsk. Does that mean that it is now time for me to turn my attention to ushering out the guests from another world? And will this offworld threat force these local aristocrats to drop their hostilities and band together against our common enemy? Hard to say, but, like usual, I can only really count on myself and my forces. Let’s just hope I have what it takes to get the job done!
The Healer’s Way: Book 9
by Oleg Sapphire, Alexey Kovtunov
Mikhail’s adventures continue. He’s finding out ever more about this world, and the Empire in which he lives. But he’s in for some surprises, still. They’ve tasked him with training the most hopeless students from the Department of Healing Arts. Perhaps this was meant to be a way of punishing Mikhail, but in the end, it’s tough luck for the students. After all, look at who they got for a teacher! One thing’s for sure, no way will these students end up as mediocre Healers!
The Healer’s Way: Book 10
by Oleg Sapphire, Alexey Kovtunov
Evidently, for whatever reason there were still many who fail to comprehend who Mikhail Bulatov really is. These are the ones who see him as just a Healer. Their attempts to kill him in a duel, or to simply poison him only amuse him. But his first government contract to treat an aristocrat is encouraging. Mikhail enjoys working as a Healer — it is, after all, his calling. And how refreshing to use his Gift not to kill, but to heal, as well. Of course, he still has to do plenty of killing, especially because more and more hostile offworlders were showing up and their aim was nothing short of subjugating this world But…that’s no easy matter when an Archmagister Healer has made this world his home.
The Healer’s Way: Book 11
by Oleg Sapphire, Alexey Kovtunov
Mikhail isn’t greedy, no! He’s simply thrifty, practical. And he cannot fathom how anyone can leave trophies behind on the battlefield. No way does that mean he’s stealing them! And of course Mikhail isn’t a slave master! Although those who he corralled into signing service contracts might not agree. The earth mages, for example, who are still busy erecting all sorts of structures toward the successful development of Mikhail’s county. They work in three shifts with no days off. Meanwhile, Mikhail continues to attract the notice of the emperor, who has even invited him to the capital for a reception….But is that a good thing? And how will the other aristocrats feel about it?
The Healer’s Way: Book 12
by Oleg Sapphire, Alexey Kovtunov
To anyone looking on, it would appear that a certain very young count is beset by too many enemies, especially considering that his Gift has nothing to do with combat. It’s as if the northern region that houses his county is a magnet for offworld invaders. But his enemies also include his competitors, and, of course, neighboring aristocrats who seek to seize the lands and assets of this impudent upstart, this Count Bulatov. Only what does the count himself think about all this? It would seem that he shrugs off any concerns. You see, he knows full well that it is he who is a threat to his enemies. And if they fail to understand this, that’s their problem.
The Healer’s Way: Book 13
by Oleg Sapphire, Alexey Kovtunov
Mikhail’s enemies finally decide to make a serious move. One who, thus far, has always remained in the shadows declares war on him, seeming to think that he can simply crush him, once and for all. Apparently he’s feeling pretty confident….But really, should he? Mikhail, after all, has a backup plan. Moreover, he’s got friends, it seems. Who knew? Certainly Mikhail never expected them to show up.
The Healer’s Way: Book 14
by Oleg Sapphire, Alexey Kovtunov
Why, oh why, are so many loath to have dealings with Healers? In other worlds, at least, everyone knows how powerful Healers of his rank are. But why is it no one realizes how great Healers are at negotiating and concluding contracts? And, moreover, they’re fabulous managers. Although that might well be why there are few who want to do business with them. Not when they can make geese work. And if Mikhail can force poultry and pigeons to work for him, what hope do mere people have of not falling into bondage under him?
The Healer’s Way: Book 15
by Oleg Sapphire, Alexey Kovtunov
Events are intensifying around Mikhail Bulatov. The emperor is starting to wonder how he could be just an ordinary Healer, and he’s even considering entrusting him with a matter of special importance. Yes, the emperor suspects a lot, but not that Bulatov has geese working for him, and that Leonid himself considers him a friend. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg… What will happen should the emperor finally realize the truth about Mikhail?

In a world full of secrets and intrigue, Mikhail Bulatov is playing a dangerous game, and the rules are constantly changing. And when it comes to his people, Mikhail will do whatever it takes, even if it means the beginning of the end for his enemies. Of course, while they go about plotting to take him out, he might as well enjoy a little vacation, one that lands him in prison. Why not? A guy has to have fun somehow!

He sends Alexander on dangerous missions, and instills in him a taste for proper nutrition, that is, stewed meat, in the process making it popular throughout the Empire. The path they embark on leads to the Dominion, where they battle demons, and then to the so-called Upside Down… If that’s not enough, from there they end up in the most interesting place on the planet. Anyone else would simply get out of there – problem solved. But no, not Bulatov… Watch out, eh? It could all end badly. Of course, not for Mikhail, but for any evildoers who stand in his way…After all, what lies ahead is huge news that will change everything.
